if we could get a nice divergent (5th) wave down in the
morning then a strong move up to create a reversal day, it would
make for a good buy on close with a stop below tomorrow's low.

Nice channel now in place (also on SPX which I showed much earlier).
Again, there are still several possibilities here so keep an open mind and trade in accordance with YOUR objectives.
