The alerts would be great for the watchlist, and I look forward
to having them available. However, I think you are mistaken
if you think alerts would make it possible to trade the mechanical
systems. Maybe you could fool around with taking some trades
on the swing systems, but you certainly couldn't use alerts to
trade the EOD systems. The amount of slippage you would
incur, compared to the price at the open of the candle -- which is
what the sydtems are tested and based upon -- would be so large and
haphazard that you would have no way of knowing whether what you
were doing would even be profitable over time. if you're
serious enough about wanting to try the systems to set alerts and
keep your phone on and be ready at a moments notice to place an
order with your broker..........just take the effort to automate
them.
