When is the last time the market went up 5 days in a row?! The probability is telling that it's going to come down some day. Tomorrow, Wednesday?! Yes, picking top or bottom is hard.
when this divergence on intraday spx charts doesn't play out......even the 3 and 5 minute chart still shows neg divergence.....not so on the 1 minute
the last time the market went up 5 days in a row was the 5 days ending nov. 28. the next day the dow went down 700 points.
with fed day tomorrow i have a hard time seeing that happening.
with bernanke on 60 minutes, Obama on Leno tonight, the bank presidents all talking up their book last week, this is a coordinated promotion.
i wonder if the banks will be issuing a ton of stock at these levels over the next few days? that is my guess...
xlf is now up 6 days in a row 47%. in this bear market that i can find xlf has not gone up 6 days in a row yet.
