MS on MCP -- 2/21/12:-- --- just info out there- own
DD a must ! you never know
from MS below, "compelling", $81 target, $28 current price, a
potential triple.
At 5x EV/EBITDA, the MCP stock price reflects REOs at ~30% of
spot. Project derisking remains our expected catalyst, as MCP is
down 50% from 2Q11 at the same domestic REO prices. We are lowering
our price target to $81 to factor in equity issuance. We still see
deficit in magnetic REOs in 2012-15.

Molycorp, the Colorado-based mining group, plans to begin
exports of rare earth minerals to China following its C$1.3bn
(US$1.31bn) acquisition of
Neo Material Technologies, a processing company listed in
Toronto that earns most of its revenues in Asia.
Think this acquisition was announced today-- 64% of Neo's revs
come from sales to China & Japan-- Neo has plants in China
& Thailand--
