SLW ( silver) also has Bear Creek stake- fyi- from most
recent quarterly report:
" At March 31, 2011, Silver Wheaton owned 13.3 million common
shares of Bear Creek Mining Corporation (“Bear
Creek”), representing approximately 14% of the outstanding
shares of Bear Creek. At March 31, 2011, the fair value
of the Company’s investment in Bear Creek was $138.5
million."
This $138M is out of a total $849M of financial assets
(cash and long term holdings), vs. $363 of financial liabilities.
