Keep in the back of your mind that there are some time
relationships possible today as I showed earlier. This will
need to be confirmed by a strong reversal downward in the following
days but just wanted to remind everyone.

Steve, is there anything special about "26" and "40" days going
back further than the immediate example that may translate to
future dates (or is it just immediate time symmetry that you
noticed?).
Marketguy - I'm not aware of anything else regarding those time
frames. As I posted earlier today, I pay attention to
relevant symmetry as potential turning points BUT view it as
secondary to price. I won't trade off time alone and
certainly don't attempt to pick exact tops...instead I will watch
how PRICE acts within potential timing windows.
Well Perthx the problem with Gann's statement is identifying the
timeframe that is going to produce such a reversal. When you
have that answer let me know.

I view timing as secondary

I view timing as secondary to price but feel it's worthwhile to point out when there are symmetrical relationships.
Steve you are opposite to Gann

"I view timing as secondary to price..."
whereas Gann said: “Time is more important than price; when time is up price will reverse.”
I like your chart just the same. While we can certainly see the SPX just keep going higher, I think this chart make a great case for a top today.
