Most traders focus on SPX.
NYSE is a more comprehensive representation of the market. It
failed breakout to new highs(red line) and is in the process of
breaking the rising uptrend of the ending diagonal.
Since no one can predict the market, Close to the all time
highs, I went to 50% cash and left 50% in a NYSE Vangaurd ETF..If
the market pulls back 20%+, I will buy back clos to the low..

Backing up to the long term picture with simple trendlines on the
big board, makes me wonder if we are in a w4 ascending triangle. If
we breakout of the ascending triangle, the target is right at the
upper trendlines of w3 and the 2009 bull market.

So if the ticks are strong and the market does not follow, is that a sign of market weakness,ie negative divergence?
