Michael & RP:

The TICK trade (from my past experience) has a lot to do with the type of day the mkt is having. If we are having big range - crazy move - days (like Oct & Nov) I suggest raising your alerts to +/-1200.  That has kept me out trouble.

My problem with the TICK trade has been that 1 bad trade takes away the profit  of 3 good ones -- I now use it mostly as an idicator lighten to up my longs or shorts rather than initiate trades

How can they (a cross) occur in the last 5 minutes? if it doesn't trigger until the close of the 15 minute bar, a signal can only trigger at 3:45 (which has been profitable) or 4pm which is a no play. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just making sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks

If at the open -- does it show a cross at the start of the 15min period but by the end not cross
