FYI, follow-through day NOT confirmed

Posted by mastermind on 3rd of May 2024 at 06:56 pm

FYI, follow-through day NOT confirmed by IBD because volume actually decreased slightly from yesterday. Kind of surprising, but maybe it's a Friday effect.

And Regulatory Riskis 3rd. so about 1500$ winning for me.

I have 40% stake in Dornoch.
Not the real one though (LOL) - a NFT in a project called GameOfSilks (https://silks.io/). It does afford me 1% of the purse (5M overall purse) if it wins IRL.
I also have Regulatory Risk which races in the Kentucky Oaks in about 1 hour time (1.5M overall purse).

Consider this - a "perfect"

Posted by DigiNomad on 3rd of May 2024 at 04:37 pm

Consider this - a "perfect" outcome for the central planners right now would be able to print money,  redistribute wealth and DEFLATE asset prices at the same time (it's not as crazy as it sounds...they really do want asset prices to go lower). That is absolutely leftist policy outcome nirvana.   It's completely impossible in practice, because, umm...math and human nature intervene... but that's how society ends up in these pickles time and time again. Every culture that comes along thinks they can print money, redistribute and not inflate...all of them, without exception, throughout history...and it never ever ever works. But they never ever ever stop trying.

*If they didn't want asset prices to go lower, they would have eased interest rates a LONG time ago. It's a primary but unstated goal at times like these.

The chart on the 401k KISS Trend tab says it needs $5,170 to go back long, did it change?

only Diginomd and Yellen know

I'll investigate more this weekend as I have the newsletter, right now I have to run to an appointment

that said what I said yesterday still applies - this move could just be wave C and SPX is still not even back to the 61.8% Fib - and we are still below the ATR on the daily, so I'm still concerned we could stall there

then again the Algos Steve follows is looking for new highs

again I gotta run - because the systems are long, I am long some things too, I try to follow them. You guys either follow all or most of the system trades or you don't

the stops will be at the lows for these daily charts, later on I can post where the high performance intra day systems have stops  - as they went long 1 or a few days ago and thus have much tighter stops, and are intra day smaller time frames

Matt, it would be great

Matt, it would be great if you would express your view on whether this trade will be one of those "whipsaws". Thanks much and have a good weekend.
