In addition, I hear some are anticipating a FED pivot soon - I'm not in that camp. I do not see the FED pivoting at all - their focus is on attempting to tame inflation. This process takes time and anyone who thinks a couple of rate hikes will cure is delusional. To be clear, if you are expecting the FED to pivot short term I think you will be disappointed. The stock market bouncing makes for a nice backdrop for the FED to remain hawkish. They cannot let the US Dollar weaken substantially as this will only exacerbate the CPI since the US is a big importer of foreign goods.
