I bot it a week ago and stopped out.

It seems odd that FB is down this much on slightly lower than expectation earnings, but I think this is a good longer term investment. From a fundamental guy that I follow, there is nothing wrong with FB. I am bottom fishing here and will add if it goes down more.

Steve hope you will be

Steve hope you will be fine. I've sold 2/3 of my CF (I mentioned last week when I bought it), VSCO, and all CLR because it is right at resistant, and I don't want to give it back if market turns down.

fang after market up big, googl, nvda, so we may have some good days to follow

such as trading, when I bought these with good earnings because they caught at the start of the market moving down, they were sold, now they are up announcing good earnings, such as trading

epzm insiders bought huge, but I can't figure out how they bought at $1.5, because my chart has no print at 1.5, epzm just tanked

if he bought that much stock and want to speak, must be something good, updated: on 2nd thought, may be not, his buy time was horrible, obviously he dose not look at charts

spy 1hr, is still within

Posted by sydney on 1st of Feb 2022 at 04:23 pm

spy 1hr, is still within its recent upper trendline and at 20ema, qqq is still within its recent upper trendline, and at a horizontal resistant, both have declining vol in the last few days while going up, I was 100% in and sold down to 1/3, I sold in the morning too early and they just kept going up, not sure what happened but posting disappeared. Repost, chart switched around.

sold brzu, ov into horizontal and 200ma resistant.

qqq - 1hr, spy - 1 hr

My own guess is at the low, because that is usually how TA works.

SPY scenarios: No one knows

Posted by sydney on 29th of Jan 2022 at 04:46 am

SPY scenarios: No one knows what the future is, spy could be like past Sept / Nov (the left box), and up to new highs (a fundamental guy that I follows say there is no sign of a bear market, at this time), or bounces up then down to new low (middle box), or go sideways and then down (the right box). I heard a lot of funds unwind their positions causing this weak sold off that is fast. Some say the sold off is done, many stocks are 50%-80% declined, so market should rally now, some say the internals are so weak that it is the beginning of a bear market which is what I think as well. Most good news are ignored and stocks were sold last week. This is a typical bear market reaction. Appl and V are very strong today and both are a major holding of SPY. The 3rd chart shows more new lows, and single digit new highs. % of upward momentum is only 9%.

Possible bear flag for the current sideways action.

Bottom indicator is new high new low.

I have uup as the

I have uup as the base and added orange spy. When market tanks uup tends to go up and it seems uup is leading the way now. However, tlt is not showing a deep market crash, yet. So no useful info.

IBD put call ratio 1.08, so probably a bottom for now.

I posted CF yesterday and

thanks Matt, much easier with snip

Posted by sydney on 25th of Jan 2022 at 05:17 pm

I posted CF yesterday and somehow the post disappeared, by the time I re-post it I think the market was closed. If the market was bullish I would have a larger position. Weekly momentum is decreasing, but it has been outperforming spy since Oct and just looking at the chart you would not know there is a correction in the market. So I think this is a good stock to trade for now. I bought 10% position on this yesterday when I posted it, and I sold half today to reduce my risk, only because the general market is weak.
