XOM charts on stockcharts seems to be off. I was looking at it and thought this is at all time high at 76. But when I looked at TD, the high is way above 75 in the 80's based on last 5 year chart.

Is it because of the Dividends? if yes then every stock on stock charts is off when we try to find the resistance and support?

is there any settings that need to be turned off on my end or Stockcharts are like that?

I dont have means to run this scenarios, but I just compared with the last few sell offs and this is the first time VIX has closed outside the BB for the 6 consecutive days!!

I was trying to find a similar support and reasoning for SPX to rally apart from being oversold. WE broke through most of the support lines.

Matt and Steve I think you took my statement in a really wrong way. What I meant to ask was in all your commentary it is stated that it is in downtrend and I was wondering why there isn't a system to capture such a fine move downwards!!

It is strange that none of the system too a Short. Straigt 4 days of selling and yet none of them took a short position even once.

One site which has really helped me a lot is barchart website for options. It does not give a detailed information about what kind of transaction is that. You can probably go to Thinkorswim and see the specific date/option at the end of the day to see what kind of transaction went through, like Naked or Spreads.

What is average amount of days does each of the system hold based on history. The reason for asking is if I have to buy aggressive options instead of 2 months down, I am just trying to see what other options that can be traded.

I did not take any of the trades but did took some calls on Monday dip and sold at the end of the day which were next week expiration.

Something I have seen lately is when one of the Trillion dollar company gets sold hard the money automatically moves into the other trillion dollar companies.

See how AAPL and fb is trading strong while MSFT gets hit.

This is something I need to understand. What exactly is getting sold and what sector is getting bought.

Like Flash crash back in May is there a possibility that we have an exact opposite where indexes will go on up like 1000 pts on Dow Etc?

What is the USE of all the charts and lines and resistance if in 1 hour all those can be taken away to form new lines and resistances.
