But in this case, if you are using the SPX as your instrument on
the NYSI system, it would be a matter of closing a short and then
opening the same one again, right? I guess you could call it a
continuation play, or the relay race analogy that you have used,
but even though they are different signals, it's basically the same
play.

Well, if you are following the systems, you either:
a) Close your shorts now as the exhaustion short was closed
today
b) Keep your shorts open in accordance with the NYSI crossover
signal.
Following the systems are not always so simple. The STS tables
are my preferred method. I sold my SQQQ for a small loss today, but
may take LABD, one of the few short ETFs left in the STS
tables.

I took two flyers at the end of the day - a high flyer in ABIO
and a low flyer in HOLO. Opposite ends of the spectrum and both
speculative, but both pretty small positions. I figure I don't need
a very big position in HOLO if it heads to 100 again.

I'm sticking with two silver stocks that start with Silver - SVM
and SILV. SILV is the best fundamentally, but that doesn't always
make for the best short term performance, unfortunately.

LFMD has a similar story to AEYE - a double from Feb to March
and a pullback to the 20 DMA. However its bounce is less pronounced
and has not yet broken the downtrend channel yet. Like AEYE, this
is a small cap stock with emerging growth, but P/E is already only
29.

I think that kind of data is a little deceptive. It just
reinforces the effect of long term compounding - in this case
compounding of inflation. Obviously a dollar is not what it used to
be, but then, people have a lot more of them than they used to,
right? And would you have wanted to be around in the 30's when the
purchasing power of the dollar was increasing? That's because most
people didn't have dollars to spend, so supply of goods outstripped
demand for them.

Fundamentals aren't that bad. Well, not TLRY horrible anyway.
92% EPS growth projected in the coming year. Not sure if that takes
them to profitability or not though.

Yeah, true. I think In 'n Out is still relatively reasonable, but unfortunately that doesn't span all the way to the Midwest.
