Hi
Does anyone use a service that sends out SMS messages when
price or other criteria are met e.g. Share price >$1.50. I
use
www.advfn.comwhich covers
shares, currencies and ETF's well but doesn't seem to cover
commodities at all.
I'd like to receive SMS text messages for price criteria met on
commodities such as oil, gold, silver etc, could anyone recommend a
good service (preferably free!) for this

I think TDAmeritrade's strategy desk will do it or their new
company they just bought called ThinkorSwim will do it for sure and
is free if you have an account at TDAmeritrade,
I have used TD Ameritrade's alerts that are triggered on various
parameters. Go to Research & Ideas>Alerts. You
can choose 2 email addresses, mobile phone, and/or pager. Of
course, you need an account there. BTW, I have only used the
email options.
