I think you are correct on the cnbc Asia numbers but their etf
on our exchange is down again as well, must track futures for them.
Japan down 4% and Taiwan down 6.47% that are open. Not pretty in
asia.

I think you are seeing Thursdays movement rather than Friday. Today is a Constitution Holiday there.
