I know this isn't a crypto forum, per say...but if you're at all
interested do yourself a favor and look into the tokenomics of
HYPE. Long story short, there is a formula that returns a set
amount to token holders based on transaction fees received here:
https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade/xyz:SILVER ...and there
are significant transactions happening. As far as I can tell,
this is the first very useful token that has a live use case (thats
actually being used!) and a formulaic return built in (sort
of...I'm not an expert...read here:
https://www.okx.com/en-us/learn/hype-token-buyback-strategy-crypto).
Appears to be breaking out...
Hyperliquid is a clear and present danger to brokerages and
even the global financial system...it's definitely an existential
risk to the current system (which is why you need a VPN to use it
in the USA even though you can buy an ETF...weird). So, that
is the major risk here...it has many powerful enemies. *If
you think this last part is hyperbolic, fire up your VPN and do a
couple of transactions! It's a seamless brokerage experience with
none of the headaches and all the bells and whistles - they just
make it all easy (and no KYC).
HYPE looking good. I just like that it has an actual use case
and an algorithmic buyback mechanism that allows you to project the
future value of the coin based on actual transactions...not some
(HYPE)othetical future use case.
No, but there are two ETF's that track it - BHYP and THYP.
It's a token that is bought back at a rate based on the
revenue generated by Hyperliquid "brokerage" transactions here
(quite a lot, actually). I believe the rate is 97% of transaction
revenue algorithmically goes to buying HYPE.
No problem. I would personally recommend just turning on a VPN
for a hot second - long enough so that you can use USDC to buy it
on Rabby (or other wallets) or directly through the hyperliquid
brokerage. The experience is so good on the brokerage that it got
me HYPE'd about buying the actual coin (not why I initially landed
on the site...I wanted to trade the S&P 500 on the weekend).
The ETF's look kind of sketchy since they are brand new.
Bitwise is legit, but still...I personally would rather hold it in
real crypto. Sheesh, I sound like a salesman...sorry about that.
HYPE (BHYP and THYP are ETF's)
