This is an alert about BPT Mechanical Systems:

Hi Mid Lo mean reversion took a 2nd entry short on MES futures, we did not take the 1st entry. I'm going to go ahead and issue 1 contract short for MESM26 futures contract.

    Thank you!

What a joke. Insatiable demand for stocks.

    that system was meeting exit

Posted by matt on 12th of May 2026 at 04:10 pm

that system was meeting exit conditions this morning when price was below the 4 EMA.

remember guys we see that a lot, those 'ghost' signalsthat tend to play out intra day, then go away after a bounce.  For me I've seen too many of those, I take some profits when I see those.

Plus guys I posted that 5 min wedge mid day, it was a pretty nice intra day long setup that played out, see 5 min SPY

anyway the system did not close out today because the 'ghost signal went away from the bounce. That said, PPI tomorrow, and it's only a matter of time honestly before we get something to stick

What happened today with the market is we bounced off a demand zone (remember first test of demand gets bought)

also we filled the gap - price hasn't made new highs, it could still form a lower high here then go back down tomorrow, esp if PPI numbers are bad

if you find yourself getting too emotional - that tends to occur near market inflections. I'm serious, if I could poll the website and compile the answers into a graph, we'd probably find that extreme emotions correlate well with stops and bottoms
