How about not promoting trade Ideas within a week of earnings.
Bought HIMS and ASTS today and now both are down > 10% after
earnings tonight. Had little time today, not enough to check
earnings calendar, so ultimately my fault. Of course, stops are
useless, will trigger at whatever the opening price is tomorrow
unless I cancel them.
I'm going to be blunt here. I don't promote trade ideas
first off, I put them out. Also, how about checking that
trade ideas table from the Trade Ideas Button, and this is also in
the newsletter under the Trade Ideas table.
Earnings Dates are listed right on the table. It's your
guys job to look those tables over, look for things like that. HIMS
had earnings date listed right on the table
The question asked back to me might be, why don't I look at
those before adding to a newsletter. Guys....I don't have
time, I'm here all day, then I compile the charts after the close,
then I run my stock scans and add ideas that look good on the chart
(I pick the charts that look good have nice trade patterns, I don't
have the additional time right then to then go check each one for
earning's), then I spend 30 min recording and sending out the
newsletters, then I try and go have a small life while I can in the
evening (not much of one) I don't have the time to be trying
to look to see which ones have earnings.
The earnings dates populate automatically on the trade ideas
AFTER they have been added and the newsletter already recorded -
it's a script that runs behind the scenes
also on HIMS recall it was a long idea in early April that gave
a fantastic trade. The chart had set up LAST week, popped on
Friday. Now we'll see what it does tomorrow, probably gaps down,
but if it holds the 50 day MA it may just form a higher low there
and start running up again
