FYI the open mean reversion long systems have done a damn good
job going long at the lows and staying long on the whole move up.
That two systems may exit today
- SPY RSI Oversold is meeting exit conditions at this moment and
may finally go to cash today, upper right chart
- MES RSI 40 system, that went long too early but is very
profitable, is also looking to exit
and to complicate things, the RSI Oversold while it is staying
long, it is looking to buy another entry today!
why would it do that?
it's nothing new, this trade has been in place for years, a few
of these systems that tend to take trades off major lows like RSI
40, Bear Exhaustion, Bear Long, can buy pullbacks at HIGHER prices
when they catch a big winner.
here's a couple examples in the past on RSI 40 system on ES
futures, you can see the original long entries then the additional
HIGHER entry later on
