This system triggered a short on Friday, of course I wasn't
around to see it and I doubt many of you would be either. ES
futures trades until 9:30 am on Friday, so were open from
Thursday's open at 6pm until 9:30 am on Friday, so not something we
all would have seen or acted upon anyway. I hate when these
systems trigger on holidays, only occurs on ES futures not on SPY
of course.
I'm not gonna issue this if futures gap down, but should they
push back up then I probably will issue it.
If one is already long some MESM26 futures contracts because of
the open RSI oversold system that is long how would you enter this
short? It is simply math, so for example let's say one was
long 5 MESM26 contracts from the RSI oversold 3rd entry, and the Hi
Mid Lo system went short 2 MES contracts, then one could simply
sell 2 of those 5 long contracts from the RSI oversold system
and you would be long net 3 contracts.
I suppose if someone didn't wish to do that , one could short 2
contracts from the Sept MES contracts MESU26
