    $COPPER:$GOLD

Overnight 29-30 July 2025. They're stops didn't protect them. Just prior, MS recommend the $COPPER buy.

If you use $COPPER's history as a guide. $COPPER up-ticked 8Aug25 and peaked 14Aug25. Personally, I'd get out of SLV before 24Feb26 (JPM can find a billion between its couch cushiness). Other than that, I'd have to be trading on an overnight platform. ref - Stanley Kubrick's "Paths of Glory" (1957), Kirk Douglas in his prime. I feel that vibe.

    As I said Precious Metals

Posted by matt on 21st of Feb 2026 at 03:08 pm

As I said Precious Metals were my big call last year that went into January this year.  Precious Metals go first.  This year energy, world markets, and some of these agricultural commodities

Matt's Macro Vision is the place to be!

and the thing that's different at BPT is that things are more cohesive now. I also tell you guys what I think, I make predictions, I make bold calls.  I tell you when I'm into something. And I'm not always gonna be right clearly, but that's no big deal, you guys appreciate when I tell you my strong opinions and convictions vs just saying here's a chart, here's the trendlines, it could go this way, it could go that way. I tell you what I think will happen.

just like WEAT - a subscriber I talked to on Friday over the phone told me how clear I was with WEAT - he said in the newsletters you kept commenting over the last month how I have not given up on it, how I'm still long, how I think the wedge will play out, how I'm still very long - he appreciated that and stayed in his position over the last few weeks even though it was just chopping around - my conviction and me stating constantly that I still hold my position, still believe in it - gave him conviction. vs just showing a chart and saying it's in a wedge and moving on.

    I appreciate how you emphasis

I appreciate how you emphasis what you feel are the best investments going forward and the technical and fundamental reasoning behind your conviction.  You have a feeling and intuition for the markets that gives me confidence in following your market calls.

    As a new subscriber, what

Posted by bptjboxman1 on 22nd of Feb 2026 at 01:06 am

As a new subscriber, what is the suggested entry timing for going long when these drop in the newsletter in the evening? The next morning at the market, a buy stop order, a limit order, based on intra-day price action? In 2020, a video overview included suggested stop and profit targets on the charts; I haven't lately noticed this; has this fallen out of favor?

It looks like not all trade ideas are Macro Vision ideas. What's the differentiation between these idea types?

    Thanks!

    bptjboxman1- welcome and first off

bptjboxman1- welcome and first off have you spoken to Eric Kwan from support on the website? If you haven't I suggest at least scheduling a time to talk to him - he's outstanding and will do a personal Zoom call with you to go over everything and answer questions etc

    support@breakpointtrades.com

First off realizer it's gonna take some time to get used to everything and figure out what fits your style etc, there's A TON of information here, so be patient and give it some time.

For my newsletters and trade ideas - the newsletters cover everything to the market indexes, commodities, precious metals, Matt's Macro Vision long term swing ideas, and even some short term swing ideas at the last part of the newsletter with trade times ranging from a few days to several weeks.  For those ideas if I put the newsletter out earlier enough and the pattern looks good you could certain buy some of those in after hrs market (I do this at times) especially if the pattern is really sweet looking.  However most are meant for the next day - and yes sometimes they will gap big the next day and unfortunately not good to chase.

Matt's Macro Vision are meant for long term macro ideas - I'm trying to find sectors and stocks that are on the verge or early into a major macro trend shift that are starting uptrends than could last years and appreciate 100's of percentage points.  Just like last year Silver, Gold, Platinum, Palladium, Lithium Rare Earth, World Markets were part of these.  And Energy and world markets are for this years.

I noticed the change and I like it!

    Machine

Posted by cart3375 on 21st of Feb 2026 at 11:44 pm

In my mind the briefings supersede the automated system. We we're told to get out of SLV, but KISS triggered AGQ as a go. Furthermore, as per the briefings Matt went a little into ETH, then KISS triggered (more confirmation but now with a suggested stop). Now Matt expressed more positive on ETH and BTC. So, start putting more weight into crypto. That's how I've learned to navigate BPT. I've been reluctant to mix person vs machine because those are different subscriptions. Risk breaking the mold: but it's becoming apparent we need to discuss both.
