I remember when I first saw MARA as a low single digit priced company. Its description was something benign, nothing about cryptocurrency. They became one of the early big gainers amongst crypto miners. They're in the pits now, probably holding too many coins that they mined at a higher price, but just an example of how some companies pivot from their original business and can make big gains.
