DUST ... on the bright

DUST ... on the bright side, it can't go to zero ...  they just keep reverse splitting it ...

    don't fight the trend dude,

don't fight the trend dude, short squeeze going on with silver as I've stated with exchange not being able to deliver physical silver on futures contracts held - which shows you how fragile that market is - confirms long held beliefs that there's not enough physical to match the derivatives

then the 'Son of QE' now, printing presses, and also falling Dollar, that's all super bullish again for the metals

    also w/Silver, it broke that

Posted by EricK on 11th of Dec 2025 at 01:58 pm

also w/Silver, it broke that boogeyman level of $50 similar to what gold did with $2000 (look at what gold did after breaking $2000) and here we are

    I wouldn't chase anything precious

Posted by mla127 on 11th of Dec 2025 at 02:06 pm

I wouldn't chase anything precious metal right now personally ... I'm long some stuff and ETF and mostly trailing stops up on what I have , but I'm not adding ...

    Agreed. I trimmed some SLV,

Agreed. I trimmed some SLV, PAAS, NGD & ASM and raised my stops.  Thanks to whoever pointed out NGD by the way.

    Platinum has been lagging silver

Posted by EricK on 11th of Dec 2025 at 02:27 pm

Platinum has been lagging silver but Platinum is entering into a period of good seasonality from now until early Feb.  If it breaks 1500 then that wouldn't be good (because that was a multi year downtrend breakout), but imo if I were to enter into the PMs right now I would take a shot at Platinum for the next month or so.  This is the seasonal chart for January from TradingView along with a blurb from an article I saw on the internet.

    Platinum (and Palladium) doing well

Posted by EricK on 15th of Dec 2025 at 11:41 am

Platinum (and Palladium) doing well this morning maybe related to combustion engine news coming out of EU.  Spot platinum closed at 1703 on 12/11/25 when I posted this.  Very logical target at least $1900 on the channel but it would be interesting to see if the favorable seasonality on Platinum turns out to be true again and where it will be at by end of January.  According to that article, also, "Car manufacturers typically begin ramping up production planning in Q1, driving forward orders for platinum-rich autocatalysts — particularly in diesel and hybrid segments where platinum loadings remain high".

    Spot Platinum hit $1951 and

Spot Platinum hit $1951 and is now around $1900, top of the channel, might back off from here short-term.

    Revisiting my channel on Platinum,

Posted by EricK on 24th of Dec 2025 at 10:26 am

Revisiting my channel on Platinum, I thought it would cool off (I was wrong) but w/that channel break to the upside it went crazy.  And that's usually the case with channel breaks from my personal experience.  But the rotation into Platinum since 12/11/25 (see previous post in this thread) because of seasonality did play out.

    great chart, thanks!

    Platinum breaking out this morning

Platinum breaking out this morning up 5% exceeding its mid October high; it's still early but looking very good.

    you really think I'm this

Posted by mla127 on 11th of Dec 2025 at 01:30 pm

you really think I'm this suicidal ?  lol ...  showing this for fun ...   shorting anything in this market is a looser game anyway ...  and I sure ain't fighting  the fed either ...

    you're not?  ah man.

Posted by matt on 11th of Dec 2025 at 01:43 pm

you're not?  ah man.   yeah DUST can't go to zero, what those inverse ETF's do that degrade constantly simply reverse split endlessly to bring price back up LOL
