the 50 contract version of this ES pro scaleout system
managed to scale out of 34 of the 50 contracts that it bough
yesterday leaving 16 level - so all those 34 contracts were
sold today at profits, 2nd image shows all the scaleout profits
you can see how the scaleout helped that ES system professional
mean reversion system. Yesterday showed two versions one that takes
50 contracts and one that takes 30 which caused some confusion.
Again I can set whatever number I want, however there's a
limit how low I can go because the system needs a minimum #
contracts to be able to adequately do the scaleouts. I can probably
go as low as 10 but no lower than that. The more it has the
better actually
anyway the 50 contract version only has 16 left so 34 were
locked in for profits, and the 30 version sold 20, leaving only 10
contracts - which all reduces risk before if we get another sell
off, the system will only take that draw down with 1/3 of the
original size - and on top of that the profits gained on the
contracts that were sold yesterday for profits helps offset a
selloff drawdown further because it actually lowers the avg
price

Cool system. 30 or 50

Cool system. 30 or 50 contracts would require a monster trading account for ES. OK, maybe MES would work, but then lots of accrued commission.
