    GDX - Chart Link-

$BPGDM - Chart Link- the history - in past GDX tended to push higher for about 1 month before putting in a top - discussed in detail on weekend

GDX - Chart Link- current - will monitor that ratio trendline and for divergences

    Can you give a bit

Can you give a bit more information on GDX related to what you are saying about gold and silver prices?  If gold breaks up out of the coil and silver goes from $40 to $50 or more, would you still expect GDX to drop in the next month even as metal prices stay where they are or go higher?  It would seem if you are calling for a correction in GDX we would see the same with the metals?  Thank!

    timing my friend, I expect

timing my friend, I expect Silver to one day test 50 and break it, but I have no time frame on that, that may be a while, GDX and gold could top soon, and siler may also enter a correction with them - though Silver doesn't always trade with gold, so it may just chop around still.

giving the GPGDM at 100%, I don't expect a sustained run higher without some sort of consolidation - can it go a couple weeks sure.  And yes gold can run for a time against the minors (long term it does) but short-term to intermediate term the stocks tend to lead which is why we monitor the GDX/GLD ratio

Also you and most are assuming gold will breakout of the coil to the upside, it may do so and may not run as far as people think before forming a divergence. Or it may fake people out and not breakout to the upside

we of course monitor daily and will make comments and adjust - project, monitor, and adjust to evidence

    BPGDM hit 100% 2 weeks

BPGDM hit 100% 2 weeks ago, in the past it topped within 1 month so maybe not much more left a week or two maybe

holding DUST doesn't make a lot of sense when you look at the past - corrections tend to last several months at least, and sometimes just drift lower - holding DUST you will experience degradation - I looked, best to just short GDX, or maybe buy some puts, but holding DUST does not much sense outside a week or two
