Full disclosure - I'm long for a few years but was not timely
until now as had to wait for FDA manufacturing approval granted
recentlyh. Similar to AZ, sharing when I believe it's
timely.
From a MICROCAP MEMBER (Jason) We only deal with fundamentally
sound companies - not hype.
I have never posted POSC to that thread before, but today was
the day:
I posted this to MicroCapClub’s “What do you own” thread, which
has 1,600+ followers:
Loading POSC - only for those who interested in swing.
Very thin but terrific opportunity as new orders are ramping
on their PET-CT machines with only a $40 million market
cap.
Been awhile since my last post here.
My highest conviction microcap holding is Positron (POSC). Have
held for 2+ years, thanks to the good work of @zenvesting that made
the intro. I believe the company is at a pivotal moment in its
history, and there is a 5 bagger opportunity with the stock.
My cost basis is about $1.00. Currently at $1.20 or $30M mkt
cap, I don't plan to sell any until $5+ or $135M mkt cap.
Valuation can be justified at $5/share once they have sold
50+ units into the marketplace, which is possible by the end of
2025. They just sold 8 units, announced today, and I believe their
sales engine and pipeline is heating up for a breakout year.
Today's PR is a game changer for them, as they have not sold any
units in several years.

wow, just looking at the share price and see a 24% pop up, heck
was more than I was expecting!
If I buy some can you warn us before you sell with 300k, lol
!
If you were impartial you think with the 24% pop it might
come back to test the down trend line from Feb 2024 ?
To be honest I really appreciate you sharing (well could have
been sooner before the 24% pop, ha). I like companies that
also have a positive impact on peoples lives which is always great
to see, not required for investment of course but a great
bonus.
I did point it out earlier in the day (not after the pop) but
you're missing the main point and that is to look at current market
cap compared to just the sales that are expected this year.
Read every word of what was shared yesterday (from the
microcap member) and take some time to analyze properly. I
see garbage stocks (with no revenue and massive cash burn) trading
at hundreds of millions in market cap or even billions with many
(not all) never able to justify that valuation. One (small
companies) must have a clear advantage to sustain and develop
positive cash flow to truly thrive longer term. I spent a few
years building my position but it was not timely to share here as
the formal partnership with Neusoft and subsequent FDA
manufacturing license had to be finalized and then some sales
momentum needed to be realized prior to serve as a valid catalyst.
I hope that makes sense similar to AZ. I'm extremely
picky when it comes to deployment of large capital into long term
growth situations. Once widely known and held by public, I
will focus more on technicals but until then, one must put in the
time to truly grasp early stage opportunities where real wealth is
built as one cannot trade all funds unless you are simply
gambling.

Thanks Steve, yep I did read it carefully and can see the
potential.
One question did come to mind was the statement that they had
not sold any units in several years prior to the recent 8 units.
Is that due to not having FDA approval or just a timing issue
with newness of the existing SPECT units ?
Good question - that was not a surprise as the company could not
sell the new systems without the Neusoft partnership being
organized as the FDA advised. The FDA wanted them to be a
manufacturer license which takes longer. This was all
approved just a couple months ago and now the order flow has begun
with a Bang! These are expensive items and an order for one
unit is great but multiple units are huge. Price and quality
unmatched - POSC will move the first 20 units at a slight discount
but be mindful the larger profit margins in this business are the
recurring revenues for service annually (5 year contracts that can
then be extended). So you make money on sale and service
agreement. Now imagine just the recurring income on just 30 units
and growing annually. As an astute investor stated, the
market cap could be $200 million right now.
Ubetcha, I want to share some interesting situations when
appropriate. Only after extensive due diligence which takes a
considerable period of time not cursory quick reviews.
Many members said they were accredited investors, so I'm willing
to share what I find interesting via my many sources. I'm a small
fry compared to the big investors in such deals but this is where
real wealth is built. For those in AZ, stay tuned as the best
is yet to come.
These microcap founding members are damn smart with a ton of
experience. They really scrutinize potential investments. They are
tough people to impress as they leave no stone unturned. When
they speak, it's worthwhile to listen. I have the utmost respect
for their fundamental insights.

If they can sell 10 units, they can sell 50 units, or 100+. Today's PR will reverberate and generate a lot of attention within the industry IMO.
The primary reason to own this company:
Positron is the low cost producer of PET-CT diagnostic imaging machines for Cardiology (and soon to be Oncology), and there is a giant replacement cycle whereby all of the old SPECT imaging machines will be replaced by PET-CT imaging machines in the coming years. This view is fully endorsed by ASNC - American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. They have been actively pushing their membership in this direction.
This macro wave supporting their sales efforts is already forming and will continue for years
Why Cardiac PET-CT Is the Future
The nuclear cardiology sector is undergoing a transformative shift from traditional SPECT imaging to PET-CT, driven by several market dynamics:
Better diagnostics: PET-CT offers superior imaging capabilities and enhanced patient outcomes.
Increased reimbursement: PET-CT provides practices with significant financial incentives.
Technological advances: Innovations such as Flurpiridaz F18—a recently FDA-approved “unit dose” cardiac PET tracer from GE Healthcare—make PET-CT imaging more accessible and practical for practices of all sizes.
Recent data from the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) estimates that nearly 49% of the 10,000+ SPECT users in the U.S. will transition to PET-CT within three years with 89% purchasing new devices, creating demand for ~4,000+ new PET-CT systems. Positron is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this growth with its combination of advanced technology and affordability.
They projected to sell 30 units (all come with 5 year service contracts at $150,000 per unit which nets them around $100,000 per unit each year) They have already sold 11 units and these are big dollar items.
