note, the stops on the SPY breakout moving up slightly again:
SPY moves up about 60 cents to 601.82, SSO moves to 97.86,
and of course we have the open MESH25 Trend/Pullback long
I am assuming or at least hope the vast majority set hard stops
and were stopped out an hr ago since I stated they were stops and
never specified closing stops, in fact I thought they were hard
stops myself
I emailed out this message - and there will be new mean
reversion systems triggering today but I have to wait for this
carnage to settle out after the close to confirm anything
-------------
Hello everyone, I would say happy Wednesday but that's not the
case for the market, the market has cratered following the FOMC.
Honestly, things were so stretched and the horrible negative
breadth from the last couple weeks finally coming home to
roost.
That said, the SPY breakout system is closing out. Those stops
I've been updating you on daily were blown through earlier today.
If you had set hard stops, that's great, you would have closed out
the trade an hr ago at much higher prices. The Stops are
actually for a closing basis on the SPY breakkout system, therefore
it's closing out today at the close. However, since I didn't
specify that, and I thought these were hard stops at first, I
assume or at least hope that most of you had simply set hard stops
and have been out of the trade. Even so, even closing out at the
closing prices, the trade is still profitable.
On another note - we should see a second entry on the ES
Trend/Pullback system.
It also looks like the SPY Trend/Pullback will take a 1st entry,
as well as the QE BTS system. However I need to let this setting
out, and wait for the close to confirm everything.

looks like the stop is end of day -it's currently showing an exit for the close. if folks had a hard stop they would be out anyway
I always forget that stop is close not intra day - there's like 6 type of stops in that thing, this one happens to be at the close
So I guess the stats

So I guess the stats will show an EOD stop out, even though intra day stop was hit?
