I generally do stop-limit orders. Since Matt & Steve have
cautioned against buying big gaps up, this seems like the way to
go. Sometimes the gap fills and you get a better entry price than
buying at the open.

This actually came into play today. I set a stop-limit on XMTR.
It gapped above my limit, but came down to fill my order after
about an hour. I'm slightly negative at the moment, but not as much
as if I didn't have the limit in place.
