as I've stated many times, for these dividend plays, the best is
to buy them after a nice correction and not try and buy and sell
them all the time around the ex dividend play, you'll spin your
wheels doing that
I picked some up along with a few of the other div plays you had
mentioned early on. My cb on TCPC is about 9 but still closer to
the bottom of the range vs the top. I've got OXLC, DSL and
XRMI. All doing well. I reinvest the divs when they are near the
lower end of trading ranges. Sidenote, if you reinvest divs on
OXLC, the company gives a substantial discount on the reinvest.
The best div paying play of all though has been BITO. I'm
up over 50% on that one all the while it's been paying out a huge
dividend. I know it's a futures play on bitcoin but gets the same %
movement as bitcoin. Thanks for covering that in your newsletter.
