to try and lower gasoline prices 10 cents at the pump, negligible
or no benefit to anyone - strategic oil reserves are for an
emergency, should only be used in emergency situations, such as we
have major calamity like an asteroid hit that wipes out a bunch of
infrastructure, or there's some EMP bomb that takes out the
electric grid. For emergences like having insurance it's for
those 'just in case' scenarios. Not something to use on a political
whim to try and lower gas prices a few pennies.
another analogy would be let's say you have bought some
emergency food supply that companies like Patriot sell - that last
20 years, food and water you store in the basement for just in case
scenario. What the Biden Admin did - it would be like using
those emergency food supplies one day just because you forgot to go
to the store the other day and are low on food LOL - it's like NO,
that's for emergency only, go out to eat or go to the
store.
YES and the worst part was telling people specific prices and
dates- just idiotic.
I don't care if you are a Dem and you love Biden and Harris and
hate Trump, or vice versa - dumb dumb dumb
