2007? I probably fucked up a lot at first. It took
years to develop the discipline to even take the KISS trades, for
example. I understand how
ruidoso feels(emotion).
Yesterday I lost almost $40k. I didn't watch the market
closely yesterday, as I always do, because, I have the STS stops in
place.
So, I tell myself don't panic sell. Worst case, I lose a
bunch of unrealized gains (hahaha) but, I don't get wiped out
because, I have STS.
Today the sunshine came back out.
I wrote a few weeks back to MATT that, "I love to KISS." I
got taken out of a bunch of positions in that big correction and
lost a bunch of unrealized gain. But, I still made a bunch of
money on all of my KISS trades because, I had the STS in
place.
When I got home from work I saw I was stopped out!!!
But, I slept well at night for months on these positions
because, I knew I wouldn't take a loss because of STS. Just
like yesterday's big down day was an emotional day, but, I stayed
frosty.
And, let me tell you, I so wanted to sell yesterday - fear.
In conclusion, it is hard to be a killer. Every morning I
get up before the market opens here on the West Coast and play,
Welcome to the Jungle(great song). It reminds me I'm not a
killer I'm in the jungle and I have to stay frosty.
Actually I speed read his post and missed the point where he was
complaining about the ES levels instead? To me that's so
dumb, and ridiculous. Steve has been posting those ES levels for a
while. I thought I did folks a favor by posting the Twitter link
where Steve gets those so that folks can get them on their own.
It's busy work every day for me to go there and see what the
guy posts, then updated that sticky post. I don't personally use
them because I don't know exactly how he generates them. I assume
he's getting them from the volume by price profile but I don't know
the details. I also don't like relying on 3rd party stuff like that
because what happens if the person goes away and stops posting them
etc. I like things that I make on my own - I like my TICK SPX
levels, systems, and supply/demand zones
Also - okay so you trade ES futures, that's why you are here.
Okay then I assume you've been taking the SPY and ES systems
trades?? If you have not, why not? I send out trade alerts
specifically for ES futures for the mean reversion systems, they
have done very well, so if you have not been following those, why
not, you are here for ES. And you can substitute ES in place of the
SPY signals.
Also - I'm not in a good mood, I just got back from the funeral
of a 12 year girl, that was closed casket because the ATV fell on
her head and was not able to show her. I had to see her mom
and grandparents breaking down etc. So I'm a bit annoyed
about having to deal with someone complaining that I didn't update
the ES sticky levels, when I provided the link for it to get on
your own

Welcome to Jungle in the morning from
sometime around early 2000. How long has Jim what's his nose
been around? I really don't know and I Googled him and still
don't know.
I've been trading gold and such from 1979... was Jim even
born?
I can can see gold longer term going to at least 3000 an ounce
but 5000 would not surprise me
Silver - I think it eventually exceeds the $50 highs that it hit
in 1980 and 2011, the next time it gets up there I think it
eventually takes that out. Maybe 75 silver one day?

Jim has been on the radio since 1994 at least in California. I
won both his Big Call of The Day and Big Fax of The Day in the
90's. Got a free shirt once and then got to shoot a puck on him at
a Kings game the other time. Even though he had zero respect for
Horseracing, after being introduced to the sport he instantly
became a fan and horse owner. He has had pretty good success in the
sport and often talks about his horses on his shows from what I'm
told.
I'm confused... does Jim have anything to do with stock trading.
I'll admit Axil Rose doesn't either but, in context his song
does, for me anyway. We are way off in the weeds now, but
fun. :)
