so the stats are good on this system, based on the VIX bollinger
bands - I have a version for SPY and ES. The stats are good enough
that I may add this to the group of SPY and ES systems
here's some of the stats now: And I only have this doing 1 entry
(no multiple entries) and I may keep it that way just to keep it
simple
For the ES system I'm using a 1440 min bar and have it closing
at 4:00 pm every day at the cash market instead of the 5 pm. VIX
starts trading at 2:30 am and stops trading at 4:15 every day BUT I
also have it it set to the same custom time session with the daily
bar closing at 4:00 pm as well - that means the signal would be at
the same time as the SPY close

Love the idea. I’ve been interested in this topic when it was discussed in newsletters etc but never quite knew how to trade it
