I get the Uhaul sentiment, but in reality, the real estate
market is mostly frozen for the time being because people don't
want to give up their 2.5% mortgage rates when they move. I
would guess that's why the stock is down.

Seems like the problem is an insane D.A. releasing violent
offenders only to hear of repeat crimes and Psych centers released
their patients who have no place to go except the subways. I live
in Finger Lakes of NY. I've been to MSG twice in the lst few
years without incident. MaryJane was everywhere.
The idiot politics of the DA really doesn't affect the everyday
New Yorker, believe it or not. It's just living every day with
sullen angry people. Add in the unfortunate, sad racial divide and
you've got a mess. (We are the home of Al Sharpton, after all.)
Wise man once said" I do not judge a person by their skin color
but by the content of their character" to many race baters in
the country and sick folks that need therapy!

D.A. probably grew up watching Billions on showtime and firmly
believes that persecution of political enemies is one of his
primary duties. I'm thankfully not a New Yorker, but I hear
that the Billions storyline was not so far from the truth...and now
the country gets to see it play out again.
I live in NY and feel perfectly safe. It's the bad attitudes,
the everyday anger combined with idiot political decisions that
will soon have me leaving.

NYC though given that's where the majority of traders that move the
