this is an example of things that can happen and some
subjectiveness of the charts: on the MACD KISS/Stoch short on the
15 min ES, first off the move form the entry acheived well over a
1:1 ratio move with regards to the entry and stop: the stop was
around 4 points, and that big down candle got you about 7 points -
so about a 1.5 rewards vs risk. One something like that I'm always
taking at least 1/2 off or all off depending how the chart
looks
Now on to subjectiveness and this only comes after viewing
enough charts over time to calibrate your brain. The MACD had
basically recycled itself back to near zero, then curled up, to me
it had the look that it wanted to ultimately cross up - so I might
have either not taken the trade, or when I do take the trade, I'm
quick to take profits vs trying to catch a bigger move. In
this case just closing the trade out at the close of the trigger
cancel for a profit made sense
