They're down barely more than the broader market. And there are
some with low P/E's too like ON and MXL, which doesn't look good in
spite of the low P/E.

The Semis were leaders up until yesterday but broke down hard today which hurts growth stocks. NVDA perfect example of very HIGH P.E.
