2nd entry generated on the Stoch Rev
short for SPY. For the website I'll show $10K worth of SDS
for the ES systems - the DVDS short
is taking a 1st entry - we have thankfully avoided the draw down on
this one. For the website I"m entering a 1/2 position only, which
is -1 MES futures contract
As far as long systems -
remember that the KISS Trend systems have been long on the SPX and
QQQ for the past 1 - 1 .5 weeks. Today a new STS (smart
trailing stop) was generated for the QQQ at 270.9. For the SPX a
new STS was not generated and remains wide at 3815
I will be out over the next 3 hrs
due to picking my father up at the hospital
On a side note very nice day for
many of the trade ideas we've had in place and new ones that I put
out this morning.
One other important note: the VIX is
currently up for the day while the SPX had a strong day - sometimes
that precludes a reversal day
I didn't act on a daily KISS signal for SPX last week based on
the audio for Chart 10 of the Jan. 18 newsletter. Did misunderstand
that the signal didn’t happen? At this stage the SPY systems point
to an eventual retracement so it seems wiser for me to wait rather
than acting late on a KISS signal.
I wasn't going to follow weekly KISS signals because they are
too slow to respond in this down/sideways market.
the KISS system went long on QQQ on Jan 13th, while the SPX
wasn't until late last week. Short-term we'll see if we get a
pullback in here
otherwise again that's why we always say, have a plan,
everyone's plan is different depending on their style, goals, risk
tolerance - that plan may include following the KISS systems and it
might not, it may include the reversion to mean systems or both, it
may include our market analysis, it may include our excellent trade
ideas, whatever your plan is that fits you, follow that

If the market is still in the mode where much or most of the
gains come overnight, that would suggest entering long EOD, and
when closing or taking some off, do it at the open.
