Team, I am really troubled to understand what happen yesterday.
We get CPI data with increased inflation and the market
responds with a big down move pre-market (830am) and remains down
through the open and approximately hour after open as
expected based on CPI data. Then later in the morning the
market turns up and continues up and closes approximately 2% up.
What happened? or what did I miss? Is this just the big
guys manipulating the market? Thanks in advance .
To clarify. The only thing that will help you trade is what
happens in your charts. Macro discussions are fun, just like
fantasy football. But whatever you need to know is all right in
your charts. You don't even need to know the econ # announcements
themselves, just how the price is reacting to them. In fact,
knowing why the price is moving will often cause cognitive
dissonance. OK, I'm done.

It doesn't matter WHY it happened. React to WHAT happened.
To clarify. The only thing
