Just buried my Mom yesterday. Was 95 years old and sharp
as a tack.
Last few years when she was complaining about her multiple
medical issues, I use to try to cheer her up by saying "at least
your brain is functioning properly."
Her response: "maybe if I had dementia/alzheimers, I wouldn't
realize what was happening to me".
Mom's are special! Our thoughts and prayers with you and your
family. I lost my Mom (85) in Jan 2021, then my Dad
(90) on Father's day and my Brother (53) to colon cancer in Dec
2021. It was really tough and I miss them all but I finally
realized that they are in a better place!
