Hi guys regarding the systems: First off the Strap that went
long yesterday is going to close out on SPY and ES - unless price
sells off some before close, but the Strap will most likely be
closing. Remember I said it would be a quickie
The bear long will continue to hold because that momo indicator
is green. However, I think there's more risk on this because we are
not coming off the lows 500 points ago when that momentum hold
condition triggered. The systems have met their original reversion
to mean objective therefore I'm going to go ahead and issue a sell
1/2 order on the bear long trades just to be safe. Or another
option would be closing out one of the bear longs (the SPY or ES)
then keeping the other one

If I buy the options, notice at 3:46 is tough to pull off unless
I’m sitting At my PC. I signed up for the texts but it came at
3:54. I’m not sure the quickest way to find out what exactly you
are doing on the SPY trades until it gets posted in the table and
that’s usually too late. I’m kind new sorry maybe I don’t
understand how this works. It would be nice if my text just said
buy the SPY option at strike 401 for October. Thanks for any
guidance.
I suggest you watch the community board where Matt will more
often than not inform us all that one of the systems could be
triggering at the end of the day. If it is a long trade(buy) and
the market drops even further towards the end of the day the signal
will definitely remain. So what I do is draw up my options trade(I
trade spreads to reduce my risk even further) and enter at market
close even if Matt was not able to confirm before EOD. Tradestation
is very clunky and often freezes after big moves. I would be happy
to explain what I do if you are interested in contacting me. Also
the SPY/QQQ etc options trade well between 16h00 and 16h15 which
gives you even more time.
At 3:46, options, spy options trade until 4:15 that's almost 30
minutes. Again the options are tough because of time but it is what
it is with the systems.
I generally don't put the trades details in the text, the text
are to alert you that a trade is going to occur, the texts are an
alert to have you check your email or the trading community for the
trade details. Also because of the nature of the systems whereas
sometimes I can't confirm the trade until the last few minutes of
the day, if one is trading the systems they should bookmark the
trading community on their phone and make a point to check it the
last 5 or 10 minutes because I always post the info there first.
The text messages are mainly for quick notification to let you know
to check these areas for a possible trade.
