as you know I've tested some of these strategies on various
other ETF's like a basket. It's one of my goals to eventually
complete that, though albeit with the vacation travel and getting
Covid, I haven't messed with these systems in a few
weeks.
here's one of the versions of QQQ that I had tested. This one
has a buy trigger here, note the trade indicator. However this is a
good example of that next day open versions of the systems I
discussed where we get the trade signals and instead of entering
them on that day like today, the trade gets entered on the next
day's open. This means that this QQQ system will go long tomorrow
morning on the open, NOT today. The idea of the next bar open
entries and exits is that it avoids the mad dash at the end of the
day or in after hrs as you get the signals one day and execute the
the next morning. However personally I'd probably split the
difference and enter/exit 1/2 on that same day and the other 1/2
the next morning, but that's just me.
the stats for this one is 100% winning trades with about a 4.5%
max historical draw down
I may or may not end up using this version of the bear long for
QQQ's and so I'm not emailing this out as official

This is some amazing work your are doing Matt. Thank you
for everything you do and teaching us how to fish and sometimes
giving us the fish. I am really excited about the ETF basket
rolling out and your service is a steal!

Right. There is often a mad dash to buy at the open. I might
prefer to buy half at end of day and half an hour or so into the
next day. Thankfully I already took TQQQ today as an alternate to
the SPY buy signal.
