the analysis commentary from the Breakout - I have ratcheted stops
there that get triggered. The breakout system is the one
non-reversion to mean system (not counting the KISS) out of the
basket. It works differently from the others with multi layers of
stops etc. The system is quite complex - one of the things I use in
the system is the ADX and =DMI indicator, in addition to the ARoon,
PSAR, and ATR etc
The ES breakout and ES bear long have been killing it
I bummed I missed this system signal to go long. When did it
trigger or when was it alerted the entry? Because the last signal I
had was to get off the short on July 26th.
yes was sent out and discussed check your emails and
newsletters. There's two system longs there besides the
manual hold on SPY, ES Bear Long and Breakout so I have no
idea which one you are referring to. the ES breakout went
long last Thursday ( market was overbought) then had a good 100
point sell off from Friday - Tuesday. The 2nd entry was taken on
Friday and of course the market sold off another 50 points lower
from that 2nd entry before bottoming. If you missed the Breakout
entries from last Thur and Friday that was a good thing as you
could have bought them at far better prices than the system entries
on Tuesday. The trade tables on the website showed the active
breakout entries. in Monday's newsletter I also discussed the
systems at the beginning of the newsletter showing all the open
system trades

if one is following the systems and misses a trade - if you can get better entry prices later - it's lower risk
