New to BPT starting this week.  Mostly interested in the SPY/(coming ETF) strategies).     Got stuck in the XLE downturn, trying to decide whether to cut losses or see if it bounces from here.  Thoughts?

What's the preferred way to capture and insert images from Stockcharts?

After glancing at energy - seems to be basing somewhat.  XOM retested lows (possible short term double bottom to monitor)

I use a program called snagit, any type of screen capture you want to use. Many images you can just right click on the image and click save as - in stockcharts.comyou dont' need any software you can just right click on the image and click save as then give it a name. For images you cant do that use a screen capture - Windows has this built in by default it's called Snipping Tool - type that into your windows search and it pulls up - best to save the images as .png files

since you asked about Stockcharts, as I said above you don't need any screen capture software, just right click on the image and save as. then simply drag image into the post

    I've used Snagit for years.

I've used Snagit for years. It's great. You can even record videos from your screen, hours-long ones, which is great for recording T.A. webinars etc. Unfortunately, they don't support older versions of themselves for cheapies like me. Windows has a program called paint, free with Windows, quirky but it works just as well.
