I know it’s not a definite yet but I’m a little confused as to
why you would close out an MES trade from 6/25/22 and re-enter
again slightly lower assuming the 5 o’clock close fulfills your
needs- even though it’s a different system that’s triggering the
vehicle you’re using as identical?
go review your emails - I sent out a book-em danno cover 1/2 on
that short trade on 6/28. I close price wasn't correct it was quite
better - the closing price shown on the table was current ES - I
changed it to the 6/28 close. The trade was correct on the actual
ES trades are anyway
and for you guys who don't trade ES or MES futures - you can
still follow the ES system trades by using the SPY ETFs.
those ETF's trade until 8 pm very late
Thank you for responding that I follow everything and remember
the book them Danno post not a problem I’m simply questioning why
we would close in MES and then open again with within minutes
of one another
I’m assuming it’s different system and it keeps the records
clean
there wasn't a trade entered the next day - was a typo on the
date for the open trade summary table - this was correct in the
trade table on the website which you should have looked at as
that's the official one. how do typos like that occur? 1. this is
an excel like spreadsheet - I copy and past stuff, and if you drag
a date down to copy it, it converts it to the next day, easy to
have those typos when in hurry
here's the trade tables that are on the website - shows the open
SPY trade still and the closed QE 3 short on MES and the new MES
short for the Hi Mid Low
those ES systems are still going do those trades, one closing
out while a new one is opened - officially it's confirmed at the ES
close of 5 pm EST not the 4 pm cash markets. I'll confirm for sure
later but I don't see that changing
we are still long the SPY ETF from the bear long and the RSI 40
is still long, which we are tracking
firedsox - your comment about doesn't help those who don't trade
futures for the systems?
why not? when the ES systems take a long, why can't you buy SPY
or SSO or UPRO, and when it does a short why can't you buy SH, SDS,
SPXU? you can follow the ES / MES trade signals by trading
the SPY related ETF's. ETF's trade until 8 pm in after hrs so you
have PLENTY of time to enter those way after hrs. I simply report
the ES/MES signals as MES contracts because it's clean that way but
you could easily just buy one of the SPY ETF's after hrs, I don't
get what's so complicated there. I could show ES tradse as SPY
related ETF trades but I figured I would let you guys do that on
your own - do I really need to start placing ETF trades here in a
separate table for ES trades? I could do that but didn't think it
was necessary for me to do that and it's just more busy work for
me.
again trade what fits you, but you can easily follow the ES
system signals
no not even close - one of the indicators I use for that system
has to work up to an overbought reading, it's only just turned up
not even close to t here yet

Systems update - there will likely be trades today

update on the systems
- We still have the SPY ETF long open that we kept manually from the bear long
- ES QE 3 short - we had covered 1/2 on the previous week to lock in some gains, however that system is looking to cover and go back to cash today
- A new ES sub system is looking to take a 1st entry short: the Hi Mid Low , which has pretty decent stats see attachment
see the first image shows a summary of open trades and the possible new short today from ES hi mid low.

Hi Matt, the SPY RSI 40 system you are tracking - I believe price is now a bit lower than the original entry - enough for a 2nd scale-in?
