Just guessing but I think both systems triggered simultaneously they are all different and have different things that set them off so it is possible

Watcdy, each system long and short has their own set of rules...meaning you can have a long system trade on and a short system trade on at the same time...while it's rare it happens. Also, if you'd go back and look at the names of the systems, there is no short breakout system only long.

    Great. Thank you

The SPY BREAKOUT is a long trade with the data from the SPY etf,  The ES STRAP is a short trade with the SP500 futures data.  Thus the reason for different trades also sometimes Matt has a few minor differences with a SPY or ES settings.  Matt did a great You Tube video ( the link is found on 24 MAR 2:16Video update)  explaining some of this with the last trade and why the SPY exited and the ES held.  To see the stats on every sub system at the top click on "SPY" then "system stats" then LONG and then SHORT to see the stats on each system.

    The ES breakout did not

    Matt, can you take some

Posted by Ray on 28th of Mar 2022 at 05:28 pm

Matt, can you take some time and update the current status of the SPY Systems?  The SPY tab shows the SPY ETF with open shorts, the SPY Option has open short trades, and and the MES shows an open short trade.  If I were to "guess", I would say, before today, the only open SPY trade was a MES short.  Now, today, there was a last minute ETF trade (I think a long, but the email did not designate a Call or Put).  You have a lot of subscribers (myself, included) are subscribers mainly for the SPY system trades, and plow a lot more than your recommended amounts into those trades.  Thanks for trying to get this cleaned up......

    Ray - I updated that

Posted by matt on 28th of Mar 2022 at 07:22 pm

Ray - I updated that table last week - I don't know why it shows old stuff now open SPY shorts etc. I'll have to ask the developer - he did some updates over the weekend and maybe he refreshed and caused an old page to replace that because it was update last early last week - I added the table back that was there last week. I also need to add the breakout - which if the market soon has that wave 2 or B pullback will likely be a looser, we'll see...

    I was confused because there

I was confused because there are stilll several. Short or short hedges still in place so when the post hit I didn’t see buy  the call just a strike price and exp date
