regarding the SPY systems, as you know they are all in cash,
good thing we followed the one version of the Trend/Pullback and
exited 1/2 that position 2 days ago in the morning. The entry stop
was hit on the remaining position yesterday for any options and
ETF).
what I now have to decide is, do I take a 2nd entry on that one
system that is still technically in an open trade? we used the
manual stop on that one and is what I've been doing for the last
year on that version. that's where some subjectively lies
also realize guys depending on how deep this flush is, other
systems could start to trigger that hare higher probability such as
the CCI divergence, or bull exhaustion systems. I don't think the
bear long could trigger as you need to be in a stronger downtrend,
that one is tough to trigger and generally you have to be below the
200 day MA. Bear Exhaustion won't trigger as that only occurs in
washout conditions in bear markets.
I'll of course I'll communicate what that open system continues
to do, however since I listed a stop at entry for the remaining I
have to stick to that as I assume most or many followed that. But
the Trend/Pullback non-aggressive version is still technically
open
