Good morning everyone. regarding the open SPY system long trade,
I'm going to go ahead and sell 1/2 the position here for both the
option and ETF portion. If you only bought one option (most of you
buy more than one) then you can only close it or not close it, your
choise. The aggressive version hasn't closed out yet and it may
close out today at the close should the market stay up as it
currently is meeting the exit condition at this time.
For the other 1/2 of our position we'll now set a hard stop at
entry.
again to be clear the aggressive version of the SPY system
hasn't closed out yet, it looks like it will by the close. I simply
closed it out early manually. You can do what fits you, either wait
for the close when the system actually closes or follow me.
Remember we're keeping 1/2 the positions for the other open system
that will not be closing out today.

What is average amount of days does each of the system hold
based on history. The reason for asking is if I have to buy
aggressive options instead of 2 months down, I am just trying to
see what other options that can be traded.
I did not take any of the trades but did took some calls on
Monday dip and sold at the end of the day which were next week
expiration.
avg is around 17 days, again it's an average, a few can be as
short as 2 days, some for 2.5 months, states are listed in the
section, though I haven't updated those static images for the stats
in a about a year, they are basically the same
wow-- i just looked back at all the option trades and i did not
calculate the avg holding time but i`ve profited on i
believe on all i entered but never that time frame--surprised
the trades lasted that number of days on avg. so theres
potentially more time that these could hold up
