frustrating morning, friggen automatic Windows update messed up
my computers and Tradestation, been working on that all
morning.
anyway showing an example of things I'll be monitoring more of.
PTON for example has been on the watchlist before, it's also an IBD
20 stock. Yesterday I had noticed that it and CRWD pulled back to
their ATR indicators near their DVT's as well and also I saw a
cycle buy on the 195 min chart as a nice confirmation trigger. Also
the daily was a perfect retest of former resistance became support.
CRWD also had a similar pattern as far as the ATR and DVT
retest
These DVTs are so helpful; kept me in AMD the other day with a
larger stop than I was giving it. Glad I followed it! AMD looking
good today and to me looks like it wants to break out of a small
consolidation.
I know this is not that important but thinking about renaming
the DVT's. I know the DVT sort of flows off the tongue now and
that's a good thing, but the DVT was actually suggested to be by
someone else dynamical variable trigger. The issue I have with that
name is that it's redundant with 'dynamic and variable' basically
the same thing.
a better name or names might be
DST = Dynamic Smarter Stop or Dynamic Smart Stop?
STS - Smarter Trial Stop or Smart Trialing Stop?
nice! also had a buy cycle the 120 min chart show up a few
days ago too, also notice that 60 Stochastic tested 50% there and
rebounded. Currently ribbons are pinched so now hopefully
price can launch higher so that we get a new DVT
