since later December and now seems to be in a little
consolidation. Earnings are on 1/26. Can you add this to your KISS
charts if you post a few in the next couple days? I traded SMH like
you and made $ then got into AMD on the pullback. Thanks
Thank you! Just curious, do you normally use a hard stop
or a mental stop on these DVTs? I've seen little fishtails go below
and right back up in the past.
As I staid before, kind of like we used to do with the custom
daily pivots we used to show on SPX daily, we treated those with
+/- 7 points. I give some wiggle room to them either rounding up or
down depending on what other indicators and price action is saying.
Also as I stated there's a bug that shows up once in a while
on the 2hr time frames where there should not be a DVT price right
after one was broken. This is not generally a problem with the
daily DVT's. Also in the past on the daily again I use some
discretion, if price comes to a DVT and there's a big support there
and 50 day MA, and I see a cycle buy on a 120 and 195 min chart,
I'll probably give it more room because of that. Same for you, you
can just use the prices hard set, or use them in conjuction with
your charts and triggers as an additional tool, there's not one
right answer. Otherwise on the daily again I generally round them,
3612 on the SPX to me that's the same as 3610 or 3615 or even 3600
quite honestly.

yeah I didn't like the pattern AMD formed into late last week had sort of a tiny H&S look to it, I've been flat that stock.
