I just sent out out this email and SMS regarding the Bear
Long
Good morning everyone, as you know
after the market yesterday I sent out an alert that out of the 21
SPY systems, the Bear Long took a first entry. We did not see the
trade at the cash close because of some Tradestation issues.
It was too late to purchase SPY call options as they stop
trading at 4:15 EST however ETF's can be purchased up to 8 pm in
after hrs.
Anyway should you wish to follow
this system trade and you didn't purchase SPY yesterday in after
hrs you could purchase SPY this morning as ES futures are only up
about 7 points. Also for the SPY call option trade I'm
looking at Jan 15th Expiration date with a strike price of 317.
One could also look at the Dec 31st SPY call options with
strike of 317 is a tad cheaper. Realize with the VIX up at
elevated levels the options are expensive here.
If you haven't done so I suggest you
look at the SPY system section and review the trade statistics for
the Bear Long. Also remember this system can have up to 3
entries should the market go lower over the next few days or couple
weeks.
If you think the market may probe
lower some you can always choose to wait and see if you can get
better prices on SPY or the options.
Thanks, it gave me courage to pull the trigger even though I
already knew I wanted too, LOL... I was watching the NYMO which was
confirming the trade.
Question on the daily SPX KISS system: Are you staying long
officially? I see the table looks like the trade is still open. I
know it hit the first stop yesterday at 3304. And you made some
newsletter comments about having it be our choice to follow that
first stop or give it more room with the initial stop, which is
3209.
The stats on the table I've shown for the last month uses
the first DVT if there are only 2 of them as I mentioned last night
and a few weeks back that cut out a lot of whipsaws in the past.
you guys should use what fits your style and some like the 120 min
etc.

I'm happy that I sent out that SPY bear market long system trade again this morning along with the option trade when the market was basically flat
