50 option trades and then platform is free
again guys I suggest holding off a bit on Tradestation. We are
working on Trading View to see if we can get it working there, then
you won't need to download software and pay TS fees or open an
account. We've had some issues with converting files to Trading
View before so I'm not promising we'll be able to do it but since
we are trying, just started today, give us a couple week to see if
we can get it done or not
so here's a major issue and something very simple that you guys
would not even have thought of could be an issue. I have the BPT MA
Deluxe at Trading View, and a moving average ribbon is just adding
4 standard EMA's. HOWEVER notice when I place the BPT MA
Deluxe on top of the ribbon over at Trading View it doesn't match
usually with Tradestation. Look at the examples I point out,
it's way different in a lot of places. That's what worries
me, something so simple not even matching. Tradestation is on
the left, Trading View is on the right. Both have the same MA
ribbons of 9,20,34,50 EMA's and both have the same BPT MA Deluxe 20
length setting and both are on the same instrument and time frame
daily SPX
anyway just showing an example of a stumbling block on what
should be the simplest thing. If I can't get this to match then I'm
not going to proceed with the others

Hey Matt - Great stuff, is the bpt ma basically an exponential hull MA? 20 length looks long, maybe a 10 period?

shecar - I'm on ToS and use a 12 Hull MA - comes pretty close to Matt's. Can't find any indicator that works like the cycle one though.
